I think we were all somewhat shell shocked by the result of this game.  In the first two minutes we were 2 goals up.  Fantastic goals from great forward play using space well and accurate passing. 

 

During the first half our defence spent the game motionless while our forwards continued to dominate.  Spencer then got a goal against the run of play and this lifted them and they equalled on the whistle of half time.

 

In the second half we seemed to forget all the good things we had been doing in the first half and became ragged.  Spencer took there opportunities and we found ourselves 4-2 down.  We were struggling for possession and kept giving the ball away. 

 

Gina, Tabitha and Emily tried to calm things down and made some great passes down the wing giving Bethan the ball in the D who scored her second goal of the match. We settled after this and once more were able to attack but we had left it too late.  Spencer deserved the win for their sheer perseverance and determination.
